Viktor Szakats 4c76400cce silence various warnings
- unused parameters
- trivial const stripping cases
- missing NULL initializers from vtbls
- missing static scope for vtbls

Missing newlines at EOF addressed in a separate PR.
It's be nice to replace `ZIP_UNUSED var` and `(void)var`
with a global and non-gcc-specific solution, such as:

improve compatibility with original minizip
2018-04-23 18:31:31 -07:00
Viktor Szakats ce26dba5ba improve compatibility with original minizip
* Fix NULL pointer dereference when calling zipOpen*()
  or unzOpen2*() with NULL filefunc table.
* Rename dos_date to dosDate in zip/unzip structures to
  be compatible with original minizip.
* Add tm struct timestamps to zip/unzip structures and
  populate them with the dosDate value for unzip and
  use the value passed into it on zip, if dosDate is
  zero (mimicing original minizip behaviour.)
* Change zipWriteInFileInZip() return value to be a
  status code (ZIP_OK or ZIP_ERRNO) instead of the
  number of bytes written. This way it's minizip
  compatible.
* Add zipCloseFileInZipRaw64() compatibility wrapper.
* Add these compatibility functions:
  unzGetOffset()
  unzGetOffset64()
  unzSetOffset()
  unzSetOffset64()
* Add stub for compatibility: unzGetLocalExtrafield()
  It will always return zero for now.
* Add original minizip types for compatiblity:
  tm_unz, tm_zip, ZPOS64_T
* Add these minizip (non-compatiblity) APIs:
  mz_zip_get_entry()
  mz_zip_goto_entry()
* zipOpenNewFileInZip*() to use the default filename of
  "-" if filename parameter was NULL. For minizip
  compatibility.
* Fix mz_zip_entry_open_int() and mz_zip_entry_read_open()
  failing with MZ_PARAM_ERROR in raw mode
* Add/cleanup some date-related comments
* mz_zip_time_t_to_tm() to clear the `tm` structure in
  case localtime() call failed.
* Fix mz_zip_tm_to_dosdate() to do the date validation
  on the normalized date (the year in particular), not on
  the raw value passed by the caller. This makes it work
  correctly when year is passed as-is, such as 1990.

The reference minizip was the version that comes with
the latest zlib, currently at 1.2.11.

2018-01-06 08:46:46 -08:00
Andrew Gunnerson 3c52d21ba9 mz_zip.c: Fix incorrect size of data descriptor fields
Previously, the conditions for writing 32-bit vs 64-bit data descriptor
fields were swapped. If the size was smaller than UINT32_MAX, a 64-bit
integer would be written, and if the size was larger, then a truncated
32-bit integer would be written. This prevented programs that don't have
support for the central directory (like busybox) from reading files
created by minizip.

2018-01-04 10:13:36 -08:00
Mike Crowe 0fbdb2298e CMakeLists.txt: Use customisable installation directory for cmake configuration
The existing CMakeLists.txt installed the minizip cmake configuration files
in PREFIX/cmake which doesn't match where other packages install such
files.

Let's add a INSTALL_CMAKE_DIR so that the destination can be specified, and
then default to installing in the standard ${CMAKE_INSTALL_LIBDIR}/cmake
location which should end up being the right place.

Tested with OpenEmbedded and on Debian GNU/Linux 9.3.
2018-01-04 12:46:48 +00:00
Mike Crowe 7df69ea96e CMakeLists: Use GNUInstallDirs to specify default install directories
CMake's GNUInstallDirs knows where particular Linux architectures and
distributions want to have their libraries installed. In particular,
Debian-derived "multi-arch" distributions keep their libraries in triplet
sudirectories under /lib. Other "bi-arch" distributions keep 64-bit
libraries in /lib64.

Including GNUInstallDirs and using CMAKE_INSTALL_ variables means that
minizip's libraries and header files are installed in the correct
locations.

For GNUInstallDirs to work, CMAKE_SYSTEM_NAME needs to be set which only
appears to be the case after the project command so this must be moved
earlier.

Also, since minizip is compiled, its pkgconfig file should be in the
architecture-specific "lib" rather than the architecture-independent
"share" directory.

Tested with OpenEmbedded and on Debian GNU/Linux 9.3 (the special naming
only applies when installing in /usr.)

In the fill_*() functions, not dereferencing `pzlib_filefunc_def`

This library is a refactoring of the minizip contribution found in the zlib distribution that is supported on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The motivation for this work has been the inclusion of advanced features, improvements in code maintainability and readability, and the reduction of duplicate code. It is based on the original work of [Gilles Vollant](http://www.winimage.com/zLibDll/minizip.html) that has been contributed to by many people over the years.
